Mrs. Blackwell, the Housekeeper (Warg3791)

After inspecting the Breakfast and the Morning room to make sure the girls have made them presentable for the family, I go downstairs to see why Mr. Marsh was here. When he comes through that door it usually means someone from Japan has sent something to the Master.

As soon as I enter the kitchen I hear the most horrible squeaking coming from a small wooden box on one of the cabinets.

"And what would that be?"

Mrs. Garrick looks over at me and shrugs. "I've no idea. Something from Australia apparently. Would you mind taking it up to the Master when he wakes up?"

I give the box a horrified sideglance as the squeaking starts up again. "I suppose..." But so help me, if that... that thing turns out to be some sort of rat! Well, Master Hijikata will hear plenty about it, that's for certain!
